My team and I spend a lot of time educating patients about the body and mouth health connection and empower them to take control of both. We teach proper home dental hygiene techniques, and talk about nutrition and developing positive habits. When I can see a patient has made healthy changes in their life, I’m thrilled!

Today’s advanced techniques allow us to deliver treatment that’s comfortable and virtually pain-free! Taking care of your oral health should not be something a person stresses about, ever.
I’m attentive to each person’s concerns. I listen without judging and encourage patients to talk with the team and me about their fears. If we truly understand a patient’s worries, we’re able to address those issues and help the person work through them. Assisting a patient move from dreading dental visits to looking forward to coming to see us is our greatest reward!

As a graduate from and Mentor with the Kois Center, in Seattle, WA, I stay current with developments in dentistry. The Kois Center is a didactic and clinical program that presents the latest advances in aesthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry. Patients can feel secure knowing they will receive only the best of modern dentistry in my practice.

Outside the OfficeI grew up in Parker, CO and now live in Denver, in the Bonnie Brae area. My wife, Dr. Ann Somers, is a Periodontist who practices in downtown Denver. We have a teenage daughter, Carolyn, and a Portuguese Water dog, Paris.
When not caring for patients, you’ll most often find me with my family. We might be home relaxing or up in the mountains enjoying the outdoors. We enjoy traveling, skiing, working on home improvements, and spending time with family and friends. I am also the team manager of our daughter’s competitive soccer team.
I believe in helping those in our community who need assistance. I’m a volunteer with the Metro Denver Dental Foundation, providing dental care for battered women and also help with the Cancer League of Colorado.

I am a native of the Denver Metro area. My family consists of my brother and his wife, son, and daughter. My nephew has a daughter and my niece has two daughters. I enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time with my friends.

My passion for my career and further pursuit of education is linked to the oral-systemic connection of how the health of our mouth affects the health of our body. I will be your team member to provide you with the best oral healthcare in order to assist you with optimal health and wellbeing. I also want to make sure you keep smiling and enjoying your life to the fullest.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my husband and my two dogs. I love to ballroom dance, go hiking, and spend time reading. I am excited to continue exploring beautiful Colorado and look forward to what the future holds for my family here.

When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our 5 kids. We enjoy camping with our dogs, fishing, and spending time with family.
